Abstract
Climate change is one of the most discussed topics in the present era. International environmental law is the key to comprehending and handling the future ecological crises. The small insular states of the South Pacific are one of the best subjects of study due to their high vulnerability. The critical situation in Tuvalu is generating two original law concepts: The vanishing state and the climatic apatrid notions. Understanding these two new notions is necessary in order to find solutions for the likely problems.
